GeCo & The Palais Thearte, present the inaugural Huon Valley LGBTI Film festival.
The film festival will be held over 3 nights running from Sunday February 26th - Sunday march 5th. The movies being shown include;
Sunday 26th February
Fourth Man Out - A n American based buddy movie where one of a group of friends is accidently outed as being gay. How this alters the relationship between the four best friends unfolds.
Thursday 2nd March
Remembering the Man - This film includes an introduction by co-director Eleanor Sharpe, followed by a Q&A session. Not to be missed!
This film is a documentary that explores the relation first told in the memoir "Holding the Man", the story of the romantic love between two Catholic School Boys in Melbourne in 1970's Melbourne, that spanned 16 years, including their journey with AIDS.
Sunday 5th March
Carol - The blockbuster movie starring Cate Blanchett about 2 very different women who find love in 1950's New York. A visually splendid film.
